I`ve been working hard on launching my online shop and it`s finally up and running! Take a look HERE! As a result I haven`t had much time to enjoy the lovely weather and that`s why I look a bit dreamy in these photos - it was impossible to get any good ones where I looked at the camera because I looked too tired. Although I`m tired I am extremely happy to have made a dream come true and I`m going to work hard to sustain it and make it successful! So please excuse my lack of posting! I promise more frequent blog updates from now on! I hope you are well and that your summer holiday dreams have been fulfilled!

I love these sunny summer evenings in Oslo, the city bathed in sunlight making everything so serene.... This dress I`ve had for a while, it`s not vintage but I love the 60s feel of it with the rounded collar and scallop lace front.

San Francisco you are mine

I had the pleasure of spending a mini break in Hardanger with my boyfriend visiting his family. They all live on the same farm land by the fjord - it`s idyll one don`t find too often....

No, it`s not a name I invented for wearing vintage in the desert. Desert Vintage is an actual shop in Tucson and I got to know the owners whilst travelling through Arizona. We made a pit stop in Tucson and stumbled upon Desert Vintage (or actually the lime coloured house which contains the shop is hard to miss) where we got chatting to the owners Salima and Roberto who are the sweetest people. They invited us out that same evening and we ended up staying almost three days there and spending alot of time with Roberto and Salima. They showed us what Tucson is all about - live music, art, fashion, friends and fun - being yourself and following your dreams.

I love frolicking around in flowy dresses, and shooting in this California desert for My Cup Of Tea Vintage was incredible - almost like being in a different world - massive stones forming small mountains creating spectacular organic shapes. The sheer dress moving with the wind created a beautiful contrast to the stone wall in the background. But you should have seen the view of the desert in front of me - amazing!

Indiska celebrates their 110th anniversary

I assisted at the Indiska press event for the launch of a very special collection to celebrate their 110th anniversary. They have roamed their archives and selected clothing, accessories and furniture that they have reproduced in a small number. In addition to these items there will also be a small number of items from their jewelery archive for sale. These pieces never made it to production because they were to expensive to make, so if you want to grab a truly one of a kind statement piece you`ve got the chance now because there is only one of each in the whole world!

The collection launches at October 5th in all Indiska stores!

I`m wearing my new dress from Indiska, I love the collar and the slight 60s vibe. But oh my, there are som many nice clothes coming to the shop over these next few months that I cannot wait to wear too....

I`m still sick, as you can probably tell from looking at my face, but managed to refrain from collapsing on the sofa and get my boyfriend to snap these photos of me after a meeting today. Had to collapse on the sofa after this though... I love the vibrant blue colour on this blouse, it will be great combining with brown and oxblood later in fall.  And I`m so happy with this necklace that I got in London a few weeks back - it`s the most insanly pretty necklace I`ve seen in a while!

Silk floral skirt

These pictures were taken with my Iphone. I spent the morning walking around town stopping for coffee at one of my favourite coffee houses. But to get there I had to walk by the crime scene for the first time, a route I often used to walk but one I have avoided since the terror attack, and seeing all the damages was devestating. Tonight my thoughts go out to all friends in London who at this very moment have the riots right on their doorstep.

London I`ve missed you

Going out in London on saturday night it was colder than expected so I had to wear tights! Eeek, where had summer gone? Thank goodness summer has made a three day comeback in Oslo! This dress is one of my favourites, I love the ruffles and the sheer pink fabric. I don`t own many dresses without a pattern, so it`s nice to always have this dress to fall back on in a clothing crisis because it works for any occation.

After the bombings last week we were lucky to be able to escape to London for a wedding and spend some quality time with our family there. This weekend we escaped to the seaside in my hometown where we spent saturday night at a party with old friends in an even older house located by the sea. I bought this chiffon dress by Ci Ci at Topshop, I adore the sequin sixties collar and pleats - I just can`t stay away from them! 

We also shot some photos inside the house where you can see the dress better, but I`ll post them later.
