Indiska celebrates their 110th anniversary

I love the simplicity of this Mulberry bag, but the structured leather keeps it interesting..

I ADORE this kimono!

I assisted at the Indiska press event for the launch of a very special collection to celebrate their 110th anniversary. They have roamed their archives and selected clothing, accessories and furniture that they have reproduced in a small number. In addition to these items there will also be a small number of items from their jewelery archive for sale. These pieces never made it to production because they were to expensive to make, so if you want to grab a truly one of a kind statement piece you`ve got the chance now because there is only one of each in the whole world!

The collection launches at October 5th in all Indiska stores!

I`m wearing my new dress from Indiska, I love the collar and the slight 60s vibe. But oh my, there are som many nice clothes coming to the shop over these next few months that I cannot wait to wear too....

Jewelry cravings

I know I have mentioned Indiska quite a few times lately, but they really do have an exceptionally good selection of jewelery in stock at the moment! And everything is very affordable! Do pop into one of their shops to see for yourself if you get the chance!

Pink love

( INDISKA BELT, MONKI SKIRT, H&M TOP AND NECKLACE )

I just want to start off by saying I`m not miserable in this picture even though I look like i am! But it was the best one of my face (not my most photogenic day). Now, I bought this skirt yesterday and I`m in love with it already! The vibrant colour works wonderfully with my ethnic accessories. I have been wondering about how to best combine my love for ethnic and vintage with modern clothes without going for the boho\grunge look that everybody is into these days. I think I`m on to something....

Tonight I`m going to a big 80s birthday party, so I`m off now to complete my outfit and crimp my hair. Have a great saturday! xx

Jewels Of Indiska

( SILVER PLATED RING FROM INDISKA )

I just cannot express enough praise for the silver jewelery line from Indiska called Jewels Of India! It`s a big collection that they always have in store with new pieces arriving frequently. Each piece is hand made to an extraordinary level of craftmanship, and the price is brilliant - this ring cost 149 kroner and is the most expensive ring they`ve got in at the moment! How crazy good is that?
Btw, you vintage lovers out there will love this 70s inspired dress that is from the Jade Jagger for Indiska collection that was released yesterday...

A walk in the park

wearing Primark shoes, vintage 60s dress, vintage quilted leather jacket, vintage ring, Indiska tights, Marc By Marc Jacobs bag, H&M sunglasses (sorry if you are sick to death by them, but I love them and wear them all the time)

It`s been a crazy week with a lot of work and preparing to sell the flat. Crossing my fingers that we sell it this week! The weather has suddenly made a turn for spring, so I think that wearing a floral dress on a sunday is entirely appropriate! A coffee in my hand and a walk in the park with my boyfriend made for a lovely day. Hope you`ve had a lovely sunday too!

Indiska VIP party

Bente is a visual merchandiser for Indiska. She is wearing Indiska necklace, Numph leather jacket, Graumann blouse and a Campomaggi studded leather bag. Check out her blog at www.bohemiansense.com.

Emely also works at Indiska Karl Johan and is wearing a cute lace dress from Indiska of course!

Steven is a fantastic hair and make up stylist that I worked with on all the photoshoots I did with My Cup Of Tea Vintage. He is wearing his new Indiska scarf that he had just bought. Doesn`t he look dashing in his outfit?

This is Steven`s beautiful friend that kindly let me photograph her for my blog. Just look at that face with those frames and the colour popping scarf - stunning!

Last night I went to a party at the renovated Indiska flagship store at Storgata 1. It was great meeting so many colleagues and friends! I was incredibly busy talking to people so I forgot to take pictures throughout the evening, but just before closing time I managed to snap some. If you are in Oslo you`ve got to stop by the shop, it`s been completely transformed and it looks great!

And here am I. Wearing Indiska tribal sheer top, H&M maxi skirt, Indiska necklace, Marc By Marc Jacobs bag, and Indiska, vintage and Gina Tricot rings.Thank you for taking the picture Grethe!

Dazzling white

vintage belt and Nimble Dress Betrayals sequin jacket, Strawberry Cats mini dress, H&M and Indiska rings

I felt like wearing all white and cream today. I love mixing soft and edgy clothes and accessories, and the silver rings balances off the romantic clothes perfectly.Today I`ve been walking around town with my boyfriend, admiring some beautiful architecture and drinking coffee whilst talking about converting an amazing abonded warehouse we stumbled upon. A perfect lazy sunday (if you thought I looked tired in that first photo, you were absolutely right). Have a lovely evening everyone!
