Indiska VIP party

Bente is a visual merchandiser for Indiska. She is wearing Indiska necklace, Numph leather jacket, Graumann blouse and a Campomaggi studded leather bag. Check out her blog at

Emely also works at Indiska Karl Johan and is wearing a cute lace dress from Indiska of course!

Steven is a fantastic hair and make up stylist that I worked with on all the photoshoots I did with My Cup Of Tea Vintage. He is wearing his new Indiska scarf that he had just bought. Doesn`t he look dashing in his outfit?

This is Steven`s beautiful friend that kindly let me photograph her for my blog. Just look at that face with those frames and the colour popping scarf - stunning!

Last night I went to a party at the renovated Indiska flagship store at Storgata 1. It was great meeting so many colleagues and friends! I was incredibly busy talking to people so I forgot to take pictures throughout the evening, but just before closing time I managed to snap some. If you are in Oslo you`ve got to stop by the shop, it`s been completely transformed and it looks great!

And here am I. Wearing Indiska tribal sheer top, H&M maxi skirt, Indiska necklace, Marc By Marc Jacobs bag, and Indiska, vintage and Gina Tricot rings.Thank you for taking the picture Grethe!

Colour block me happy

Primark Coat, ASOS ring, Burberry scarf, Gina Tricot bag

I colour blocked my outfit today quite randomly as I was in a hurry to get out the door and grabbed the first coat and scarf available. The colours would not normally be an obvious choice to put together, but the mini satchel and boots sort of pulled the outfit together and created a quirky and fun nerdy look.

Structured shoulders

vintage jacket with structured shoulders, Gina Tricot ring and harem pants, Monki striped topp

I was really happy when I found this jacket in a charity shop the other day. It was a bargain and it added an edge to my new harem pants that I got at the opening of Gina Tricot on thursday. These pictures were taken with my Iphone yesterday in my favourite local cafè. I love having a place just around the corner where they serve nice coffee and recognise me and finds the time to have a little chat.

Oxfords are made for walking

Primark shoes, Indiska tights

I got these in England in january. I`m not a massive fan of Primark clothes, although you can find some absolute gems now and then, but they have many nice reasonable shoes. Alot of the shoes are in real leather too. These oxfords were a bargain at £12!

Woody Allen in concert

Bik Bok dress, vintage clutch and jacket, Skopunkten boots, gifted gold locket, H&M coctail ring

The other night my boyfriend and I saw Woody Allen and his band live in Oslo Concert Hall. The played funky New Orleans jazz, and the standing ovation they recieved after their second oncourde was, I suspect, not only for the bands performance but also a tribute to Allen`s brilliant film work...

This picture was taken with a Samsung mobile, and was unfotunately the only picture from that night we were able to transfer to the computer. Appologies for the low quality, but I like it none the less.

A touch of the 60s

vintage dress, bag and belt, H&M sunglasses, ring and necklace, Monki coat, Office shoes

Last year I absolutely fell in love with the Miu Miu S\S2010 lace dresses. They had a wonderful 60s feel, but what I loved the most was the wonderful texture of the fabric -a thick almost 3-dimentional look. So I was very pleased when I found this 60s vintage dress in almost exactly the same fabric. I would have liked to have worn it with chunky wooden wedges, but the icy roads doesn`t quite agree with that....

vintage coat, belt and trousers, turqoise stone silver ring from Indiska, bag unknown source
(pictures taken with my Iphone)

I thought I`d do a streetstyle post today. I had coffee with Kristiane and she was wearing this masculine ensamble that I thought was a brilliant take on spring`s nude mixed with camel-trend without compromising on staying warm. Love how the belt cinches the waist and gives her a silhouette. Take a look at her blog!

Dazzling white

vintage belt and Nimble Dress Betrayals sequin jacket, Strawberry Cats mini dress, H&M and Indiska rings

I felt like wearing all white and cream today. I love mixing soft and edgy clothes and accessories, and the silver rings balances off the romantic clothes perfectly.Today I`ve been walking around town with my boyfriend, admiring some beautiful architecture and drinking coffee whilst talking about converting an amazing abonded warehouse we stumbled upon. A perfect lazy sunday (if you thought I looked tired in that first photo, you were absolutely right). Have a lovely evening everyone!

Caged in a box.....

vintage jacket, H&M necklace and coral stone ring, vintage Nina Ricci blouse, Skopunkten boots

.... is not just the name of my bag but a description of my life this last week. I`ve been really busy and the outfit pictures that I`ve taken have not come out very well. But today we caught the light just before the sun went down and snapped some quick photos. My patent box bag is thrifted for £1.99 and is one of my favourite handbags! I would really like another one in a popping colour for spring, like this one

My thoughts go out to my friends in Hawaii and Japan and everyone affected by the tragedy that happened earlier today!

Maxi love

vintage Diane Freis dress, vintage clutch bag, Skopunkten boots, Topshop and vintage rings

As you probably have guessed I`m crazy about vintage clothes and accessories. Diane Freis is a designer that most vintage lovers probably know. She makes gorgeous georgette dresses and blouses in vibrant prints, and when I found this dress at a bargain price on Ebay I was very happy. It makes a nice change to the cotton india hippie maxi dresses that I repeatedly wear every spring and summer.

The other day I was stopped by a streetstyle photographer who was taking pictures for H&M`s Oslo style icon competition. I was quite surpised, cause I hadn`t put any thought into what I was wearing and had even just taken off my (cool) hat which left me with flat hair. But he asked me politely to take my photo so I let him. It`s not the greatest picture of me ever, but I would really appreciate it if you vote for me at Thanks!
